Civil engineer working on water resources, climate risk and public policy in Nepal.
I am an engineer at Nepal's Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation. I contributed to drafting the Water Resources Act and its Regulation, I work on transboundary rivers, and I spend a lot of time on the question of why public projects in Nepal move so slowly.
Alongside that I am reading for an MSc in Disaster Risk Engineering and Management at IOE Pulchowk and an MA in Economics, and I teach Lok Sewa and NEC licence preparation. This site holds the work, the research, the teaching, and the parts that did not go to plan.
