I am based in Kathmandu (UTC+5:45). I read email once or twice a day and usually reply within a few days. If something is time-sensitive, say so in the subject line.
What I am glad to hear about
Research collaboration on water resources, climate risk or disaster management in Nepal. Questions from students preparing for Lok Sewa or the NEC licence. Corrections to anything on this site. Genuinely, please send them.
What I will probably decline
Unpaid consulting framed as an opportunity, and requests to write letters of recommendation for people I have not worked with.
